Brazil, which I initially found exotic, has long since become my new home. There, in the northeast, where the city of Recife combines the culture of Brazil's coast with that of the interior in a colourful and fascinating synthesis. There, in the old and partly dilapidated northeast, where the roots of Brazilian culture lie, where they will always be found.
As a private tour guide, I invite you to join me on an individual discovery tour of north-eastern Brazil. If you wish, I can also take you off the beaten track, to the wild and unspoilt Brazil, to waterfalls, artisans and cowboys.

Brazilians are people who find time to sell tapiocas on the side of the road or homemade jewellery on the beach. On New Year's Eve, they put on white clothes and run into the sea, making a wish after each wave they jump. After the seventh wave, they return to shore without turning their backs on the sea. Every lunch includes rice, beans and farofa. Brazilians always surprise with their warmth and hospitality, shaped by their tireless zest for life.
