From peaceful to adventurous, Brazil's beaches have something for everyone. Under majestic coconut palms and under a bright blue sky, you can enjoy both relaxation and activity.

The coast of Brazil stretches over about 8,000 km of sandy beach. In this land of skimpy bikinis and ice-cold Caipirinhas, you can discover over 2,000 beaches and bays. Additionally, it is home to perhaps the most famous beach in the world, Copacabana. If you reduce Brazil's beaches to the glamorous Copacabana, you'll miss out on a lot. According to the "Travellers’ Choice Awards," the most beautiful beach in the world is the bay "Baía do Sancho." It is located in the island paradise of Fernando de Noronha, 350 km from Recife.

Most Brazilians agree that the most beautiful beaches are in the northeast of the country. My personal favourite is Praia dos Carneiros in Tamandaré!

The beach is one of the most beautiful in Brazil. A rustic church stands among the coconut palms. The white sand and clear water are spectacular.

Porto de Galinhas

A picture-book landscape: the white sand is fine-grained and the water is turquoise-blue and clean. There are many bars, boutiques and an active nightlife.

Fernando do Noronha Island

The beach was named the world's most beautiful for the fourth time in the Travellers' Choice Awards. This island paradise offers a unique experience.

Its name is auspicious, as it means ‘have a good trip’. Many call it the most beautiful city beach in the world. There is never a dull moment here.

The Island of Santo Aleixo

FROM RIO FORMOSO TO CARNEIROS BEACH

From Rio Formoso, you take a fishing boat through mangrove forests. You pass historical rocks and reach Praia dos Carneiros.
